When my daughter was first born, and for the first few months, her swing was definitely a go to item and I believe, a must have item for new parents! We found it useful for giving our daughter a comfy and relaxing place to drift off to sleep, as well as giving our daughter a place to relax while getting her sun time, to help clear up a bit of jaundice in the first week or so. Once she got a bit older, the swing came in handy when I needed to get some chores done around the house and she wanted some entertainment.
So, we were excited when Fisher-Price wanted to review one of their newer swings: the My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘N’ Swing. At first I wasn’t quite sure how it would go over with her since she is nearly 10 months old and the Fisher-Price website suggests using the swing for 0-6 months, or until your baby starts to try climbing out of it, and to a maximum of 25lbs.
When we tried the My Little Snugabunny Cradle ‘N’ Swing it had been at least a few months since we had used our old swing. After an early morning, I decided to put her in the swing to see how she liked it. Because she was still a bit tired, this was a good opportunity for her to explore some of the different features. Our daughter seemed to enjoy looking in the mirror and playing with the toy that is attached to the 5-point safety harness. After a little while of being in the swing (with it swaying side to side and the music softly playing), she drifted off to sleep. This was impressive since our daughter usually doesn’t go to sleep easily.

We did try putting her in the swing later on in the day when she was more alert and we learned that she enjoyed the swing much more when she was a bit tired and ready for sleep. Since our daughter loves moving, crawling, and climbing, when she’s alert, she prefers to explore on her own.
We love the style of this swing. The fabrics are so cuddly, the variety of music and other features are vast, the optional plug-in is convenient, and it matches our My Little Snugabunny Bouncer perfectly! We are looking forward to using this swing for years to come (hopefully with future babies).
